Thanks to members of our community, we’re pleased to announce that Glenshaw Auto Service (GAS) set its individual fundraising record during this year’s Brakes for Breasts campaign.
As part of this initiative, our team proudly serviced 102 vehicles, which led to our highest contribution since we began participating in 2019 with $4,745 going to breast cancer research!
In our three years of participating in Brakes for Breasts, GAS technicians have now serviced a total of 245 vehicles and a total contribution of more than $9,900 to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund.
2021 also brought a first for GAS, as Sam and Lori Concelman were featured on KDKA – CBS Pittsburgh’s Evening News with host Meghan Schiller.

To make this effort possible, Professional Parts Inc. (PPI) donated all the brakes and brake shoes totaling $9,100 (bringing their 3-year total parts donation to $21,700).
As we reflect on this campaign, we want to send our heartfelt gratitude toward our customers, community, staff members, and the Brakes for Breast organization for allowing us to team up in an effort to put the brakes on Cancer. We’ll see you again in October 2022.
