Maintain Your Vehicle
All cars and trucks need regular “check-ups” to ensure that all parts are in working order, fluids are at the correct levels, and worn out parts are properly replaced. The expert auto mechanics at Glenshaw Auto Service Inc., serving Glenshaw, Etna, Fox Chapel and Shaler, are certified car maintenance specialists. Visit anytime and check out our auto repair service special offers.
In addition, we offer nationwide, guaranteed, lifetime maintenance for your car.
Your car, truck or SUV works as one unit, and is intended to provide you safe, reliable transportation. This means that all parts are interrelated. Ignoring maintenance can lead to trouble. Without proper maintenance, specific parts – or an entire system – can fail. Neglecting even simple routine maintenance, such as changing the oil or checking the coolant, can lead to poor fuel economy, unreliability, and costly breakdowns.
Repair Your Vehicle
Glenshaw Auto Service Inc. helps you maintain your vehicle through our preventive maintenance services, and we are also here for you when your vehicle needs repair. Our Certified Technicians are trained to repair your car correctly the first time, and our specialized equipment makes the repair last longer.
We warranty all our repairs. We provide a nationwide guarantee that the repairs and services performed will be free from defects in and materials and workmanship for 36 months or 36,000 miles of use, whichever comes first.
The Latest Technology and Equipment
Transmission Fluid Exchange System
The BG PF5 Power Flush and Fluid Exchange System is a complete transmission service. It begins with a thorough chemical flush, which cleans all internal components and all external components including transmission lines and coolers. Next, we use a highly effective method of removing all the old fluid and flush while simultaneously installing the new fluid. At Glenshaw Auto, we recommend that this service be done at 30,000 mile intervals.
Our alignment system combines VODI Graphic Display with High-Definition (HD) cameras to provide visual and directional assistance to our Certified technicians during the alignment measuring procedure. This greater visibility allows us to provide more accurate and longer lasting alignments.
At Glenshaw Auto Service Inc. we offer tire services including repairs and rotation. Plus, we offer competitive pricing on installing new tires. Our specialized equipment handles the toughest low-profile and run-flat tires and delicate alloy wheels.
Rotor Brake Lathe
Over time, your brake rotors sometimes pulsate while coming to a stop. At Glenshaw Auto Service Inc., we match the rotors to your vehicle, using a special lathe that attaches to the car, that eliminates all lateral run-out down to less than the thickness of a human hair. The result: No pulsation!
Coolant Transfusion System
Cooling-system failure is one of the leading causes of mechanical breakdown. The BG CT2 process back flushes the vehicle’s cooling system, which removes scale and debris that is hard to budge in the normal direction of coolant flow. This backflush process does a great job at cleaning out old coolant, and that in turn improves engine performance. At Glenshaw Auto, we recommend that this service be done at 30,000 mile intervals.
